
- Clean up after yourself — use correct bins, clean tables, leave at least as clean as you found it.
- Help each other — share knowledge.
- Share the lab with others — the lab cannot be reserved, only machines. Expect others.
- Secure the lab when leaving — lights off, doors locked, soldering devices off. See Closing Checklist.
- Follow safety rules — use machines as intended. Some require training/certification.
- CCTV — by entering the lab you consent to camera recording.
- After signing the volunteering agreement, your coordinator requests access from site coordination.
- You receive an invite for the Salto KS app (see Access & Smart Locks for details).
- Lights: get the big HTL key from the locker → go to Kantine → switches next to the door of the basement. Ask the coordinator for access codes.
- Register yourself and visitors on the Chromebook at the entrance. Use the bookmark or form link in Chrome. Ask the coordinator for the screen unlock code.

- Most machines: free to use.
- Laser cutter, Small CNC, Big CNC: require certification.
- Recommended: attend a LC operation workshop first, then do certification. Or: read the manual and do the certification via the form.
- Must be 16+ to use LC/CNC without a certified person supervising.
