¶ Open Labs
Open Labs are public sessions where anyone can come use the lab. No reservation needed.
¶ Schedule

¶ Volunteer Duties
- Indicate availability on the shift list (Google Sheets). Add your name in the TROOPS tab with your machine familiarity.
- Wear a nametag.
- Greet visitors and ask if you can help.
- Register visitors on the tablet at the entrance. Or log total visitors/volunteers when leaving.
- You can work on your own projects, but give priority to visitors.
- You're not expected to know all machines — refer visitors to someone who does, or email [email protected].
¶ Machine Issues During Open Lab
- Laser cutter: scan the QR code on the machine and fill in the form.
- 3D printer: email [email protected].
¶ Queue Rules
When there is high demand for machines:
- If you're ready to go (no LightBurn adjustments needed), you have priority.
- Avoid designing on the LC computer.
- Sign up on the whiteboard queue.
- Maximum 20 minutes per turn.
¶ Thursday Kantine
On Thursdays the Buurtkantine bar is open. Note: Visitors can still purchase an HTL drink from our fridge, but should only consume it in HTL and not take it to the bar.
¶ Donations
Open Lab is free. Promote free donations from visitors.
